S&P ups China Development Bank, Export-Import Bank of China

Standard & Poor's said it raised the long-term issuer credit ratings on the Export-Import Bank of China to A+ from A and its short-term rating to A-1 from A-1.

The outlook is stable.

Ratings reflect S&P's expectation of strong support from the government of China (A+/stable/A-1+), the bank's sole owner, given the close relationship and importance of the institution's policy role, the agency said.
