By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, April 15 - Russia's Exillon Energy plc has shelved plans for a dollar-denominated offering of five-year notes, a market source said.

The notes were initially talked at a yield in the 8% area.

HSBC and VTB Capital were the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

Exillon is a Urai, Russia-based oil exploration company.
