EQ's All Asset Allocation - Class K Shares to change name, strategy

San Diego, Feb. 15 - EQ Advisors Trust's All Asset Allocation Portfolio - Class K Shares will change its name to All Asset Growth-Alt 20 Portfolio on May 1, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Also effective May 1, the portfolio will change its investment strategy and invest its assets with a target allocation of 55% in equity investments, 25% in fixed-income investments and 20% in alternative investments, which includes exchange-traded funds that invest in commodities and other instruments that derive their value from natural resources, real estate investment trusts and the EQ/GAMCO Mergers and Acquisitions Portfolio.

Previously, the target allocation was 63% in equity investments, 25% in fixed-income investments and 12% in alternative investments.

The fund's manager is New York-based AXA Equitable Funds Management Group, LLC.
