Moody's: Acquisition neutral for Raspadskaya, positive for Evraz

Moody's Investors Service said that the announcement that Evraz plc will acquire an indirect controlling interest in Raspadskaya OAO is credit neutral for Raspadskaya and credit positive for Evraz Group SA.

The transaction does not have immediate credit implications for the rating or outlook of Raspadskaya or Evraz taking into consideration the uncertainty of current industry conditions, including weak steel demand and low coking coal prices.
