New Issue: Malaysia's Eversendai sells RM 250 million 4.7% five-year sukuk

Madison, Wis., March 11 - Eversendai Corp. Bhd. said it issued of RM 250 million Islamic medium-term notes with a maturity of five years and a periodic distribution rate of 4.7%.

This is the first tranche under the company's RM 500 million sukuk program established in February. Standard Chartered Saadiq Bhd. is the lead arranger for the seven-year program.

The sukuk have been rated AA3 by RAM Rating Services.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes or working capital requirements.

Eversendai is a construction company based in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia.
