Evergreen Energy to consider alternatives

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 3 - Evergreen Energy Inc. said it will review strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value with the assistance of Houlihan Lokey.

The company will evaluate several alternatives, including, but not limited to, the potential sale or joint venture of some assets, according to an Evergreen Energy news release.

Evergreen Energy, a Denver-based coal refinery, does not intend to comment further until it has approved a course of action.
