EuroTel Bratislava plans new credit facility to redeem €175 million notes

New York, Dec. 23 - EuroTel Bratislava said it has obtained a commitment letter for an Sk6 billion (€145.8 million) credit facility to refinance its €175 million senior secured notes due 2007 issued by its Slovak Wireless Finance Co. BV subsidiary.

The credit facility is via Citibank NA and Vseobecna uverova banka, a.s. as lead arrangers.

The notes are callable beginning in March 2004.

The Bratislava, Slovakia, telecommunications company said the new facility is subject to various conditions so it cannot give an assurance that the transaction will be completed.
