New Issue: Barclays sells $3.20 million trigger gears on basket of three indexes

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 1 – Barclays Bank plc priced $3,197,000 of 0% trigger gears due Oct. 30, 2020 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket contains the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 40% weight, the Topix index with a 40% weight and the MSCI Emerging Markets index with a 20% weight.

If the basket return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 2 times the basket return, capped at $14.375 per note. Investors will receive par if the basket declines by 25% or less and be fully exposed to the basket’s decline from its initial level if it declines by more than 25%.
