Credit Suisse plans Bares linked to Euro Stoxx, iShares EM basket

Chicago, Aug. 14 – Credit Suisse AG plans to price 0% Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities due Aug. 20, 2019 linked to a basket comprising an index and a fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 70% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund with a 30% weight
If each component finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 131.5% of the return of the worst performing component.
Otherwise, investors will receive par if each component falls by 20% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20% of the worst performing component.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
The notes will price on Aug. 15 and settle on Aug. 20.
The Cusip number is 22547QRL2.
