Citigroup to price buffer securities linked to Euro Stoxx 50 index

Tacoma, Wash., July 1 – Citigroup Inc. plans to price 0% buffer securities due Aug. 1, 2019 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 95% to 105% of the index return. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 25% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 25%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes are expected to price July 29.

The Cusip number is 1730T0T90.
