Morgan Stanley to price airbag performance notes linked to Euro Stoxx

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 4 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% airbag performance securities due Sept. 29, 2023 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index's return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% to 210% of the index return. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

If the index's return is zero or negative but greater than or equal to the threshold percentage, the payout will be par. The threshold percentage is negative 50%.

If the index's return is less than the threshold percentage, investors will lose 2% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 50%.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent, and UBS Financial Services Inc. is dealer.

The notes are expected to price Sept. 26 and settle Sept. 30.

The Cusip number is 61762P757.
