Esterline Technologies to start brief roadshow on Wednesday for $150 million 10-year notes

St. Louis, Feb. 16 - Esterline Technologies Corp. will begin a brief roadshow for a $150 million offering of 10-year senior notes (BB-) on Wednesday, according to an informed source.

Marketing will conclude on Friday, with the notes expected to price later the same day.

Wachovia Securities has the books for the notes, which are being marketed via Rule 144A with registration rights and Regulation S. Banc of America Securities, KeyBanc Capital Markets and Wells Fargo Securities are co-managers.

The notes come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to finance the acquisition of Montreal-based CMC Electronics, Inc.

Bellevue, Wash.-based Esterline Technologies is a designer and manufacturer of highly engineered products for the defense and aerospace industry.
