Equifax investor ValueAct sells shares, reduces ownership to 4.9%

Charlotte, N.C., July 20 - Equifax, Inc. investors led by ValueAct Capital Master Fund, LP sold 3,365,000 shares of the company's stock, cutting their stake in the company to 4.9%.

The shares were sold between July 8 and July 17 and priced from $25.26 to $25.73 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors own 6,223,659 shares of the Atlanta-based company.

Equifax is an information technology provider that collects and organizes credit, financial, public record, demographic and marketing information on individuals and businesses.
