EQ and AXA tack on 0.25% distribution/service fees to class A shares of numerous portfolios

San Diego, Dec. 6 - EQ Advisors Equity Trust and AXA Premier VIP Trust said that class A shareholders of many of its portfolios have approved a shareholder services and distribution plan for class A shares, according to 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Specifically, shareholders have approved a distribution and/or service fee (12b-1 fees) of 0.25% for the class A shares of selected portfolios. Previously, there were zero distribution fees for class A sahres. The additional fee essentially raises the total annual portfolio operating expenses by 0.25%, matching the annual operating expenses for class B shares.
