S&P: Entravision unchanged

Standard & Poor's said that the recent announcement by Entravision Communications Corp. (B+/positive) that it is exploring strategic alternatives with its outdoor operation has no immediate effect on the ratings or outlook.

The agency said it believes that the company doesn't have the size or scale to maximize its return on these assets and therefore could benefit from redeploying proceeds into its core business.

The company's outdoor segment, which is primarily concentrated in New York and Los Angeles, has EBITDA margins in the low-teens, which compares unfavorably with larger competitors that can achieve domestic outdoor EBITDA margins of more than 40%, S&P added.
