A123 Systems seven-member creditors committee appointed by trustee

Wilmington, Del., Nov. 2 - A123 Systems, Inc.'s seven-member official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by the U.S. Trustee, according to a Nov. 2 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Roberta A. Deangelis, U.S. Trustee for Region 3, named to the committee

• Peter Pollack of South Burlington, Vt., representing DynaPower Company, LLC;

• James E. Murphy of New York, representing U.S. Bank, NA;

• Yoav Roth of New York, representing Hudson Bay Capital Management, LLC;

• Andrew B. David of New York, representing Aristeia Master Fund, LP;

• Matthew Paroly of Anaheim, Calif., representing Fisker Automotive Inc.;

• Jennifer Ranger of Endicott, N.Y., representing BAE Systems Controls Inc.; and

• Robert Schuller of Kansas City, Mo., representing Smith Electric Vehicles Corp.

A123 is a Waltham, Mass.-based company that designs, develops, manufactures and sells rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and battery systems. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 16. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-12859.
