Chap-Cap Activist keeping an eye on Entertainment Distribution

Charlotte, N.C., June 18 - Entertainment Distribution Co., Inc. investors led by Chap-Cap Activist Partners Master Fund, Ltd. said they may consider a "variety of different alternatives to achieving their goal of maximizing shareholder value, including negotiated transactions, tender offers, proxy contests, consent solicitations, or other actions," according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons intend to review their investment in Entertainment Distribution and may hold discussions with third parties. Chap-Cap has been in contact with the company several times in the past, including a May 28 letter to chairman Clarke H. Bailey.

Chap-Cap beneficially owns 4,532,406 shares, or 6.5%, of the pre-recorded multimedia company's outstanding stock.
