Energy Future issues notes in exchange for $47 million of toggle notes

Tacoma, Wash., April 1 - Energy Future Holdings Corp. issued $34 million of 10% senior secured notes due 2020 in exchange for $47 million of outstanding notes in a private exchange in March, according to an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes exchanged were $20 million of 11¼%/12% senior toggle notes due 2017 issued by Energy Future and $27 million of 10½%/11¼% senior toggle notes due 2016 issued by Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co. LLC and TCEH Finance, Inc.

Following the exchange, the 11¼%/12% notes acquired by Energy Future were retired.

Energy Future is a Dallas-based energy holding company.
