Encore Acquisition begins roadshow Tuesday for $150 million 10-year notes

St. Louis, Mo., June 10 - Encore Acquisition Co. starts the roadshow on Tuesday for its offering of $150 million of senior subordinated notes due 2012, according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price midweek during the week of June 17.

Credit Suisse First Boston is the bookrunner. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Fleet Securities, Goldman Sachs & Co., Wachovia Securities, BNP Paribas and Fortis are co-managers.

The Rule 144A notes are non-callalbe for five years.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt.

The Fort Worth, Tex.-based co. acquires, develops and explores North American oil and gas reserves.
