Alexandria, La., prepares $95.69 million utilities revenue bonds sale

New York, Oct. 7 - The City of Alexandria, La., is set to price $95,695,000 of series 2013A utilities revenue bonds during the week of Oct. 7, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (/A+/) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Stephens Inc. as the underwriter.

The bonds are due 2024 to 2033 with term bonds due in 2038, 2041 and 2043.

Proceeds will be used to construct, acquire and expand the city's utilities systems.
