EMI Group €300 million split-rated 10-year deal starts roadshow Friday

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Sept. 15 - EMI Group PLC starts the roadshow Friday for a €300 million euro of senior notes due 2013 (Ba1/BBB-), according to a syndicate source.

The deal will be marketed primarily to high yield and crossover accounts, the source added.

For the U.S., there will be a one-day roadshow in New York and Boston; the deal is expected to price during the week of Sept. 22.

Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Capital and Citigroup are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A/Regulation S (with no registration rights) offering.

Proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt.

The prospective issuer is a London-based recording company.
