S&P: Elster on CreditWatch, negative

Standard & Poor's said it placed the BB- corporate credit rating of Elster Group SE on CreditWatch with negative implications.

At the same time, S&P placed the BB- issue rating on CreditWatch with negative implications.

"The CreditWatch listings indicate the potential for a downgrade should future developments lead to an increase in the company's financial risk," S&P credit analyst Carol Hom said in a news release.
