Moody's upgrades El Paso Holdco, Tennessee Gas

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the senior secured debt ratings for El Paso Holdco to Ba2 from Ba3, concluding the review that was initiated on July 17 shortly after Kinder Morgan Inc. announced plans to guarantee the debt of El Paso Holdco.

Moody's also upgraded the senior unsecured debt rating for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. and El Paso Natural Gas Co. to Baa1 from Baa3 to reflect the change in ownership for these two large natural gas pipeline companies.
