Alere to redeem all $400 million 8 5/8% senior subordinated notes

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 2 – Alere Inc. called all $400 million of its 8 5/8% senior subordinated notes due Oct. 1, 2018, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed at 102.156 plus accrued interest of $43.125 per $1,000 principal amount on Oct. 1.

U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.

Alere is a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of near-patient diagnosis, monitoring and health management.
