Eli Lilly at peer perform by Bear Stearns

Eli Lilly & Co. was given a peer perform rating by Bear Stearns analyst John Boris following a meeting with the company's management. Bear Stearns is keeping an above-consensus outlook, projecting first-quarter and full-year 2006 earnings per share of $0.75 and $3.15, compared to Street estimates of $0.75 and $3.13, respectively. Shares of the Indianapolis pharmaceutical company were down 27 cents, or 0.48%, at $56.05 on volume of 3,314,200 shares versus the three-month running average of 3,379,870 shares. (NYSE: LLY)
