Moody's affirms Elektrizace zeleznic Praha

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the Baa1.cz long-term national-scale rating of Elektrizace zeleznic Praha, withdrew its Baa1.cz national-scale issuer rating and assigned a corporate family national scale rating of Baa1.cz.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said that despite the company's small size compared to its global construction peers, Elektrizace zeleznic Praha's Baa1.cz rating benefits from a strong position in the Czech market, assuming 75% to 85% of sub-deliveries made in the nation's traction-wiring constructions, and the company is well positioned to benefit from the large-scale railway reconstruction programs in Central and Eastern European countries, driven by funds provided by the European Union and particular governments.
