Goldman Sachs to price FX bull notes linked to three Asian currencies for Eksportfinans

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, June 19 - Eksportfinans ASA plans to price 12- to 14-month FX bull notes linked to a basket of Asian currencies via Goldman, Sachs & Co., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket contains equal weights of the Chinese renminbi, Malaysian ringgit and Singapore dollar, all versus the U.S. dollar.

If the basket achieves the threshold performance, which is expected to be between 1% and 3%, the payout at maturity will be 107% to 108.5% of par. Otherwise, investors will receive 98% of par.

The exact amounts will be set at pricing.
