New Issue: Malaysia’s Ekovest sells RM 3.64 billion sukuk with up to 23-year terms

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 23 – Malaysia’s Ekovest Bhd. announced that wholly owned subsidiary Lebuhraya DUKE Fasa 3 Sdn. Bhd. (LDF3) issued RM 3.64 billion of sukuk on Tuesday.

The sukuk have terms of up to 23 years.

Proceeds will be used to, among other things, partially finance development and construction of the proposed Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway.

Malaysian Rating Corp. Bhd. has assigned an AA-(IS) rating to the sukuk.

Ekovest is a civil engineering company based in Kuala Lumpur.
