Knoxville, Tenn., June 25 - Eitzen Maritime Services ASA said it has received commitments for a fully subscribed NOK 257 million private placement of shares. The deal was announced as a $50 million offering on June 12.
The company sold 85,666,667 shares at NOK 3.00 apiece.
The private placement is subject to the company obtaining approval at a general meeting on June 26. The company expects settlement on July 2.
Fondsfinans and Kaupthing were the managers and Orion Securities was the agent.
Proceeds will be used for the company's planned acquisition of Seven Seas Shipchandlers LLC.
Oslo-based Eitzen Maritime provides ship supply, ship logistics, crew management and ship brokerage services.
