EGA Emerging Global Shares Trust changes two fund names

San Diego, Oct. 27 - The board of trustees of the EGA Emerging Global Shares Trust announced name changes for two of its funds, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The EGShares Emerging Markets High-Income Low-Beta ETF is being renamed to EGShares Low-Volatility Emerging Markets Dividend ETF.

The EGShares India High-Income Low-Beta ETF is being renamed to EGShares Low-Volatility India Dividend ETF. In addition, the fund's NYSE Arca ticker symbol is being changed to "LVIN" from "INLH."

The changes are effective at the opening of business on Friday.

Denver-based ALPS Advisors, Inc. is the funds' adviser.
