S&P revises Eesti outlook to stable

S&P said it revised its outlook for Eesti Energia to stable from negative and affirmed the BBB- ratings on the issuer and its rated debt.

“The outlook revision follows Eesti Energia's securing refinancing of its €500 million bond due September 2023, which provides a healthy extension to its debt maturity profile. With the new €600 million sustainability-linked syndicated loan maturing in 2028, the company has increased the weighted-average maturity of its debt to 4.3 years, and pushed off near-term liquidity risks given the bond's September maturity. We view positively the company's agreement for the sustainability loan,” S&P said in a press release.
