Educational Enhancement Funding, S.D., organizes $170.79 million tobacco settlement revenue bonds

New York, Feb. 21 - The Educational Enhancement Funding Corp. of South Dakota plans to price $170.79 million of series 2013 tobacco settlement revenue bonds, according to a preliminary official statement.

The deal includes $122,535,000 of series 2013A taxable bonds and $48,255,000 of series 2013B tax-exempt bonds.

The 2013A bonds (/A/) are due 2013 to 2023 and the 2013B bonds (/A-/) are due 2023 to 2028.

The bonds will be sold on a negotiated basis with Barclays and Dougherty & Co. LLC.

Proceeds will be used to refund the corporation's series 2002A-B tobacco settlement asset-backed bonds.
