Colombia's Ecopetrol gives initial guidance for dollar 31-year notes

Atlanta, May 20 - Colombia's Ecopetrol SA gave initial guidance in the Treasuries plus 275 basis points area for a dollar-denominated offering of benchmark-sized notes due May 28, 2045, a market source said.

Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs are the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Ecopetrol is a Bogota, Colombia-based petroleum company.
