New Issue: EchoStar $700 million seven-year notes yield 9 1/8%

St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 20 - EchoStar DBS Corp. priced $700 million of seven-year senior notes (B1/B+) Thursday at par to yield 9 1/8%.

Price talk on the Rule 144A offering was 9%-9¼%.

Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Credit Suisse First Boston were joint bookrunners. Lehman Brothers and UBS Warburg were joint lead managers.
