Alcatel-Lucent holders put nearly all 2.875% convertibles due 2025

Chicago, June 13 - Alcatel-Lucent said holders put $763,828,000, or about 99.8%, of wholly owned subsidiary Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc.'s $765 million of outstanding 2.875% series B convertible senior debentures due in 2025.

The put option expired at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 12. The company announced the put option on May 14.

The company will accept the tendered notes for purchase on June 17, according to a press release.

As noted before, the purchase price will be par plus any accrued interest up to June 15 for holders of record on June 1.
