France's Alcatel-Lucent marketing €500 million five-year bullet notes

St. Louis, Nov. 23 - Paris-based Alcatel-Lucent is marketing a €500 million offering of five-year senior bullet notes (/B/), according to market sources.

The order books are expected to close on Wednesday.

Initial guidance on the deal is 8¾% to 9%, a market source in Europe said.

Goldman Sachs & Co. and Citigroup are leading the Regulation S-only offering.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt.

Alcatel-Lucent is a voice, data and video communication services provider to end-users.
