Eaton Vance allows purchases of class B shares only via exchanges

San Diego, Nov. 30 - Several Eaton Vance funds will restrict purchases of class B shares, according to 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective Jan. 1, class B shares will only be available for purchase upon exchange from another Eaton Vance fund or through reinvestment of distributions.

Affected by the new policy are the following funds:

• Eaton Vance Asian Small Companies Fund;

• Eaton Vance Greater China Growth Fund;

• Eaton Vance Multi-Cap Growth Fund;

• Eaton Vance Worldwide Health Sciences Fund;

• Eaton Vance Alabama Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Arkansas Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Georgia Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Kentucky Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Maryland Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Missouri Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance North Carolina Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance Oregon Municipal Income Fund;

• Eaton Vance South Carolina Municipal Income Fund;
