New Issue: Eagle Plains to raise C$1.5 million from placement of units

Des Moines, June 18 - Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. plans to conduct a private placement of units for C$1.5 million.

The company intends to sell 1.2 million units of one share and one warrant at C$1.25 per unit. Each warrant will be exercisable at C$1.75 for two years.

The placement will be conducted in connection with a planned strategic alliance between Eagle Plains and Teck Cominco Ltd.

Eagle Plains is a mineral exploration company based in Cranbrook, B.C.
