Eagle Hospitality Properties shareholders agree to acquisition by investor group

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 8 - Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust's common shareholders approved the company's acquisition by AP AIMCAP, a joint venture of Apollo Real Estate Investment Fund V LP, Aimbridge Hospitality, LP, and JF Capital Advisors, LLC.

The transaction is expected to close on Aug. 15, an Eagle Hospitality news release stated.

On April 30, Eagle Hospitality agreed to be acquired by the investor group for $13.35 per share and per unit in cash.

Eagle Hospitality is a Covington, Ky., real estate investment trust that owns 13 upscale hotels with brands including Hilton, Embassy Suites, Marriott and Hyatt.
