By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 14 – Albemarle Corp. said all $1.25 billion of outstanding 4.625% senior notes due 2020 issued by its subsidiary Rockwood Specialties Group, Inc. have been called for redemption in a press release Monday.

The notes are expected to be redeemed Oct. 15 at a price the company estimated Monday at 103.469 plus accrued interest.

The redemptions will be funded with the proceeds of a new term loan credit facility.
