By Marisa Wong

Madison, Wis., Feb. 28 - Dusit Thani PCL said it plans to issue up to 5 billion baht of debentures.

The debentures will have a maturity of seven years or less.

The coupon will depend on market conditions at the time of the offering.

The debentures may be issued domestically or internationally to the public or to institutional and other investors.

Proceeds will be used for the company's business operation and expansion and for partial debt repayment.

The offering of the debentures is subject to shareholder approval at an annual general meeting to be held April 29.

Dusit Thani is the parent company of Dusit International, a Bangkok-based hotel and resort chain.
