By Susanna Moon

Chicago, May 9 – DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. said it plans to redeem any remaining shares of its 7.875% series A cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred stock after the $85 million call on May 27.

The company also plans to redeem some of its 7.625% series B cumulative redeemable perpetual preferreds.

Funding for the redemptions will come from proceeds of a public offering of series C cumulative redeemable perpetual preferreds, according to a company press release.

As announced April 27, DuPont Fabros plans to redeem 3.4 million shares, or 46%, of its 7.875% series A perpetual preferreds at $25.00 per share plus accrued dividends on May 27.

DuPont Fabros is a Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment trust that focuses on wholesale data centers.
