New York, Oct. 3 - Dune Energy, Inc. said it has wrapped a private placement of stock for $6 million.
The company sold 3,243,243 shares at $1.85 each.
Sanders Morris Harris Inc. was the placement agent.
The proceeds will be used for the exploitation of its newly acquired interest in the Bayou Couba field in St. Charles, La. The rest will be used for property development and working capital.
Based in Houston, Dune is an oil and natural gas exploration and exploitation company.
