Moody's rates Dubai Bank A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned A3 long-term and prime-2 short-term local- and foreign-currency deposit ratings and a D bank financial strength rating to Dubai Bank PJSC.

The outlook is positive.

The ratings reflect the bank's robust risk management, small but growing franchise and sound financial fundamentals, Moody's said.

However, the growing competition in the local banking sector and the overheating property market pose challenges, the agency said.
