Albany County, N.Y., announces defeasance of 2004A G.O. serial bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Dec. 27 - Albany County, N.Y., has refunded its series 2004A general obligation serial bonds, according to a notice.

The bonds will be redeemed on Nov. 1, 2014 at par.

The following bonds are affected:

• $4.94 million of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2015;

• $5.12 million of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2016;

• $5,315,000 of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2017;

• $5,525,000 of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2018;

• $5.75 million of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2019;

• $5.99 million of 4% bonds Nov. 1, 2020;

• $6,235,000 of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2021;

• $6,505,000 of 4% bonds due Nov. 1, 2022;

• $6.79 million of 4.125% bonds due Nov. 1, 2023; and

• $7,085,000 of 4.25% bonds due Nov. 1, 2024.

The series 2004 bonds maturing in 2013 and 2014 will be redeemed at maturity plus accrued interest.
