Barclays announces plans to sell market-linked securities on the Dow

Knoxville, Tenn., July 6 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation and contingent downside due Aug. 2, 2023 linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 times to 1.3 times any index gain, with the exact upside participation to be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 30% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline from the initial level if the index falls by more than 30%.

Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Barclays are the agents.

The notes (Cusip: 06746XGB3) will price on July 30 and settle on Aug. 2.
