Dominican Republic offering $500 million 5.95% 10-year notes

Chicago, June 13 – The Dominican Republic is offering $500 million 5.95% 10-year notes (B1/BB-/BB-), a market source said.

Price talk for the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes is in the 5¼% area, a market source said.

Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc., Jefferies LLC and Drexel Hamilton, LLC are bookrunners for the deal.

Proceeds of the deal will go toward financing the remainder of costs of construction of a new thermal power plant in Punta Catalina, Baní.
