Moody's gives A2 to Alameda County, Calif., bonds
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to Alameda County, Calif.'s $117 million of lease revenue bonds (juvenile justice refunding), 2008 series A, to be issued by Alameda County Joint Powers Authority.
Moody's also said it affirmed the county's Aa3 issuer rating, the A1 rating on its pension bonds and the A2 rating on its fixed-asset lease obligations.
Sale of the 2008 series A bonds was expected on April 2.
