Moody's rates Discovery loan Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 rating to Discovery Communications Holding, LLC's $500 million senior secured term loan C facility due May 2014.

The outlook remains stable.

Proceeds from the offering, which is an add-on to its existing term loan B, will be used to repay a portion of the senior unsecured credit facility issued by its wholly owned subsidiary Discovery Communications, LLC.

Moody's said it believes the offering improves Discovery's liquidity position.
