Alabama Power to redeem $99.85 million 5.75% bonds due 2036

Minneapolis, Oct. 17 - Alabama Power Co. has issued a call to redeem all $99.85 million of its 5.75% bonds due Jan 15, 2036 at par, according to an announcement.

The redemption date is Nov. 14.

The Bank of New York Mellon (800 254-2826) is the agent.

Alabama Power is a Birmingham, Ala.-based electric subsidiary of Southern Co.
